From 2006 to 2010 I was a Research Intern at Autodesk Research. I worked on several projects, and made several small contributions to Nucleus, Jos Stam's dynamics solver, which is the basis for nCloth in Autodesk Maya. The nCloth engine has been used in several Academy-award-winning feature films. My own research during this time focused on interactive 3D sketching systems.
Dasher
From 2010-2011, I worked with Azam Khan and his team on Project Dasher, a visualization tool for building sensor networks. I wrote much of the front-end 3D rendering and user interface. The Digital 210 King Project also came about as part of Project Dasher. The Complex Systems group continues to develop Dasher and you can find out more about current activities here.
